Caltrain Rider app for iPhone and iPad

Do you ride the Caltrain? So do we! Our team of data scientists and engineers has built a mobile app to help you find upcoming trains and create custom settings for your commute. The app also displays recents tweets related to delays in the system.

Look forward to more great features such as arrival times predicted from a combination of our own sensors (video, audio), publicly available sensors (Twitter, Caltrain API), and most importantly riders using this app with gps tracking enabled.

Please note, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
